Clean Water
Clean water applications are fairly straightforward. Without chemical compatibility concerns or worries about entrained solids or bubbles, there are few limitations on the type of equipment that can be used or the materials with which it can contact. The exception to this is applications involving drinking water. Any materials that come into contact with drinking water must comply with NSF/ANSI 61: Drinking Water System Components-Health Effects, a set of national standards developed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
