Water Quality
Water quality is the measure of the chemical, physical, and biological characteristics of a water sample to determine how suitable it is for its intended use. Water quality is a general term that includes measuring and assessing many different parameters such as pH, electrical conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, total dissolved solids, salinity, and others. Many applications including agriculture, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, environmental studies, food production, laboratory studies and many industrial applications rely on clean water. Accurate measurement of these parameters using either a handheld unit or mounted sensor, can guide remediation efforts to bring the water up to standards.
