Description
The Rosemount 396A anti-coating pH/ORP sensor is designed for tough pH and ORP applications where coating, fouling, or high solids are present. It provides digital output through an M12 connector or integral cable for fast, reliable readings and includes advanced diagnostics with predictive sensor health indicators. The sensor features anti-coating reference technology and a poisoning-resistant helical reference pathway to ensure stable pH and ORP signals and maximize sensor life.
The sensor has a reinforced polypropylene body with an EPDM O-ring and versatile mounting options, including 3/4in and 1in NPT front-facing threads and 1in NPT rear-facing threads. It measures pH from 0 to 14 and ORP from -1500 to 1500mV. Operating conditions are 32 to 212°F and 0 to 10.3bar, with a minimum conductivity of 100μS/cm. The sensor is rated IP67/IP68 and is resistant to vibration, EMI, and ground loops. Optional calibration and material traceability certificates are available.
