Description

The ifm efector SolutionBlock IO Link Master enables the connection of up to eight IO-Link devices, including sensors, valves, or binary input/output modules. It reliably transmits machine data, process parameters, and diagnostic data to the controller. The SolutionBlock models include an IO-Link, PROFINET or EtherNet/IP interface, with an integrated OPC UA server for reliable data exchange via standardize IoT platform. Units feature 8 configurable IO-Link ports for connecting input and output devices. Select ports are designed as B ports and supply auxiliary energy, allowing the connection of higher-powered devices including actuators.

The SolutionBlock IO-Link Master offers excellent electromagnetic stability, a wide temperature range, a high protection rating, and a robust housing, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments and the food industry. All models feature A-coded M12 IO-Link, and L-coded M12 voltage connections. The industrial model has a D-coded M12 Ethernet electrical connection with FKM seals; meanwhile, the hygienic model has an Ethernet connection with EPDM seals.
