Description

The Dakota Ultrasonics HPX DL+ thickness gauge is designed for use on materials that are difficult to penetrate sound due to the grain structure, overall thickness or lack of material consistency. With multiple high-voltage pulser options and filters tuned for lower frequency transducers (500kHz to 10MHz), the HPX offers a variety of features and tools to accommodate a wide range of material types and applications. Material types include fiberglass, carbon fiber, cast metals, rubber, high density polyethylene (HDPE), fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP), lead and all steels and aluminums.

The HPX gauge's electronic platform is FPGA-driven for speed and accuracy, and the screen refresh rate of 25Hz contributes to its overall responsiveness. The HPX also offers a built-in data logger with both grid and sequential file format options, and the gauge is equipped with an internal 4GB SD memory card. The HPX features connectivity to a standard PC or Apple via USB-C, and the accompanying Windows PC or OSX reporting software is available as a free download.
