Graphic Controls TrekTag NFC temperature data logger records temperature data over time for monitoring the temperature range of perishable goods during storage or transport. The TrekTag NFC is supplied with food-grade adhesive, allowing the shipper to attach the data logger to the shipping container without the worry of separation in transit. The data logger is useful for industries such as food and beverage, floral and pharmaceuticals.

Data can be reviewed instantly on the TrekTag mobile application or be sent to the TrekTag Analytics cloud for further analysis. The smartphone application allows a custom user profile, user-specified recording interval, and the ability to add shipment notes. Shipment data can be activated, read and shared via the user's current mobile device network, eliminating the need for a PC, Wifi, a proprietary scanner, or USB docking station. The data logger is disposable and does not contain heavy metals.

Simple Temperature Monitoring During Transit

The Background: Our customer is a biopharmaceutical company that makes and distributes a range of biotherapies. They seek a means of monitoring the temperature of their products during shipping.

The Problem: Most of the products made by this company are temperature sensitive and must be refrigerated to avoid spoilage. Shipping is an area of special concern for them and they have traditionally used standard data loggers to make sure their products stayed within range.
