Description
The AEMC Model 1039 megohmmeter is an innovative, battery-powered digital insulation resistance tester. The 1039 measures insulation resistance, continuity, current, capacitance, resistance and cable length to 80 km making the 1039 an ideal tool for telecom applications. The 1039 incorporates the latest measurement technology and is specifically designed to the most recent international insulation and continuity testing standards, as well as EN 61010-1, 600V Cat. III, IEC 61557 safety standards.
Testing at 50 and 100 volts, the AEMC Model 1035 measures insulation resistance to 20,000 MΩ with 1mA of test current required by IEC 61557 at the rated test voltage. After an insulation resistance measurement, the megohmmeter will automatically discharge the circuit and display the remaining capacitive voltage of the test sample. Test results are shown on an exceptionally large digital/analog multi-function display with 34-segment bargraph. A bright blue electroluminescent backlight provides clear and easy readings. Digital and analog features are enhanced by a third digital display, which indicates alarm set point or elapsed test time.
The AEMC Model 1039 also incorporates a 600 V voltmeter which automatically detects and accurately displays AC/DC voltages in the test circuit on each of the insulation test voltage ranges. Above 25 V it also provides an audible and visual signal, and inhibits further tests, thus protecting the user and the meter.
The AEMC Model 1039 megohmmeter ships complete with:
- Test lead set
- Soft carrying case
