The Rosemount 4051SFP integral orifice flow meter is designed for accurate flow measurement in small-diameter lines (0.5–1.5 in. / 15–40 mm). It integrates the primary element into a meter run, reducing installation complexity, and uses a precision-honed pipe section with a self-centering plate to minimize alignment errors that can affect measurement accuracy. Units are delivered preconfigured and leak-tested, allowing for faster setup. The device also includes a backlit graphical display and supports multiple languages for easier operation.

The 4051SFP is constructed with an all-welded stainless steel platform to handle pressure and demanding environments, with long-term stability and a 20-year warranty. It supports Bluetooth connectivity for configuration and maintenance without direct physical access, which can reduce exposure to hazardous areas. Additional features include fast response times (under 50 ms), wide rangedown (800:1), and integrated diagnostics that provide visibility into process conditions. It is certified for safety applications up to SIL 2/3 under IEC 61508 standards.
