Description
The Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies PC420V-IS series vibration transmitter is certified intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas. It provides a 4-20mA output proportional to velocity vibration, allowing for continuous trending of overall machine vibration. This trend data can easily be compared against standard vibration guides, can alert users to changing machine conditions, and can help guide maintenance in prioritizing the need for service. The choice of RMS or peak equivalent allows the user to choose the sensor that best fits their requirements. The PC420V-IS is easily integrated into existing process control systems.
The PC420V-IS is constructed with 316L stainless steel and is corrosion-resistant. It features a 1/4-28 tapped hole for mounting and has a 2-pin MIL-C-5015 style output connector and an R6 type mating connector. The PC420V-IS is manufactured in an ISO 9001 facility.
