Description
The HTD Heat Trace WinterSafe heating cable is an industrial grade, self-regulating cable designed for use on applications ranging from freeze protection to process maintenance. The self-regulating characteristics of WinterSafe ensure safety, reliability and efficiency. The cable will not overheat or burnout even when overlapped upon itself.
Wintersafe may be cut to length and terminated on site so installers may use only what is needed and are able to save and store extra cable for future installations. Installation is quick, simple and requires no special tools, knowledge or skills.
Available in two models:
WinterSafe:
- Max continuous temperature exposure: 150°F (65°C)
- Thermoplastic or Fluoropolymer outer jacket options
WinterSafe Plus:
- Max continuous temperature exposure: 250°F (121°C)
- Fluoropolymer outer jacket option
- Ideal for use one piping that may be periodically steam cleaned and exposed to elevated temperatures.
