Description
The HOBO UX120 Series Data Loggers include a variety of measurement and applications. The UX120 Series includes a 4-channel analog logger, 4-channel thermocouple logger and a pulse logger.
The UX120-006M Analog Logger is a high-performance, LCD display data logger for building performance monitoring applications. It provides twice the accuracy of previous models, a deployment-friendly LCD, and flexible support up to four external sensors for measuring temperature, current, CO2, voltage, and more.
The UX120 Thermocouple Logger is a four-channel LCD data logger for measuring and recording temperature in a range of monitoring applications. The logger makes it easy and convenient to record temperatures over a broad range (-260 to 1820° C) and can accept up to four J, K, T, E, R, S, B, or N type probes. In addition to accepting four thermocouple probes, the logger features an internal temperature sensor for logging ambient temperatures, further extending the application possibilities.
The HOBO UX120 4-Channel Pulse data logger is a highly versatile, 4-channel energy data logger that combines the functionality of four separate energy loggers into one compact unit. It enables energy management professionals from energy auditors to building commissioners to easily track building energy consumption, equipment runtimes, and water and gas flow rates.

Applications
This product can be used in the following applications:
Here's how some of our customers use this product...
External Data Logger for Digital Anemometer
The Background: Our customer uses a Kanomax 6800 digital anemometer to conduct site analysis prior to the placement of wind turbines. He seeks a means of logging the parametric data he captures with the anaemometer.
The Problem: The 6800 series offers no data logging capabilities itself, but can provide an optional linear analog output for air speed, temperature and humidity. Unfortunately, Kanomax does not offer an accompanying data logger or recorder to capture the transmitted information.
The Solution: We suggested the Hobo UX120 Series analog input logger, a high-performance 4-channel analog logger with an LCD display. The deployment-friendly UX120 provides twice the accuracy of other models. This provides all the data necessary for our customer to conduct his analysis.
Low Cost 2 Channel Logger
The Background: Our customer is a manufacturer seeking a low-cost, easy-to-use datalogger for recording pressure readings at two locations along their production line in order to troubleshoot an issue.
The Problem: As this is a temporary installation to locate a problem, the customer is mainly concerned with cost, ease of use and quick installation.
The Solution: We recommended the HOBO UX120-006M due to flexibility of input type, low cost and ease of use. The customer was able to scale the inputs to read in pressure units and got the logger setup just a few minutes after they opened up the box.
Monitoring Multiple Parameters of a Well
The Background: Our customer, a services company, is troubleshooting problems with a well and needs to monitor fluid depth, ambient temperature and motor current in a pump house.
The Problem: The customer wants to monitor a pretty unique combination of parameters. Space is also a consideration as is portability as the customer will remove the components and reuse at other locations as the need arises.
The Solution: We specified the Hobo UX120-006M logger, a CTV-A current sensor, TMC20-HD temperature sensor, and the Keller Econoline pressure sensor. This will accurately log all the required parameters and provide the customer with the information necessary to troubleshoot the well components.
