The FLIR CM83 power clamp meter is a true RMS, industrial grade 600A clamp meter designed for the electrician who needs a safe, capable combination tool. Combining a number of features and engineered with advanced power analysis and VFD filtering functions required by electrical troubleshooters, the CM83 is backed by a limited lifetime warranty and rated CAT IV-600V and CAT III-1000V.
The FLIR CM83 clamp meter includes all standard measurements including AC/DC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, and frequency. The CM83 also features a number of advanced power efficiency and harmonics measurements for system level performance analysis including harmonics, total harmonic distortion, active power, inrush current and continuity threshold. The selectable VFD Mode provides superior accuracy for working on VFD-controlled equipment.
The FLIR CM83 includes a powerful, built-in work light designed to help with clamping but powerful enough to serve as a primary work light. For applications in which connectivity to other instruments or devices is necessary, the FLIR CM83 includes two. METERLiNK technology is included which wirelessly integrates electrical readings on infrared images with FLIR Thermal Cameras. Also, the CM83 includes FLIR Tools Mobile which connects to compatible smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth. The FLIR CM83 clamp meter with IR thermometer also includes min/max/average, auto power off, data hold, relative, peak hold, battery status indicator, and integrated non-contact voltage detector, and a bright white LED backlight.
