Description
± The Jewell Instruments ASXC Series Accelerometer is a force balance servo accelerometer that uses a fluid-filled ring chamber to measure angular acceleration. The ASXC is currently used in a wide variety of applications including many military and aviation flight controls including autopilot or aircraft stability and control systems or satellite stability.
The ASXC Angular Accelerometers are available in several standard Input Ranges from 1 to 100 rad/sec². They operatewith an Input Voltage of ±15 VDC and Input Current of 25 mA, and have an operating temperature range of approximately -22 to 158°F(–30 to 70°C).
The ASXC Angular Accelerometers are designed to be small and lightweight, are extremely repeatable, and offer a very high output with excellent accuracy and stability.
Applications for the ASXC Series include:
- Aircraft flight controls
- Fatigue monitoring
- Performance testing
