Description
The AEMC SL206 current probe utilizes hall effect technology for accurate current measurements from 10mA to 80A and features higher sensitivity for lower-level signal measurements. This battery-powered clamp-on probe may be used with digital multimeters, voltmeters, or other voltage-measuring instruments for applications such as circuit board testing, motor controllers, and automotive circuitry.
The SL206 utilizes a "screw driver" shape, with a narrow elongated prod, to permit probing in crowded cable bundles or measuring in tight areas. The electronics and batteries are self-contained in the probe handle. These current probes are excellent companions to DMMs, recorders and loggers, oscilloscopes and waveform displaying instruments. Low phase shift also insures reliable power and power quality measurements.
