The MadgeTech Event101A senses input transitions or contact closures from external sources such as transducers and/or event initiators and records the time that a particular event has occurred. The unit can interface with many different sources. Common applications for the Event101A include monitoring gas, water or electric meters; rainfall monitoring; traffic studies; and time studies.

In addition to a 10-year battery life, the Event101A features a 4Hz reading rate; a multiple start/stop function; ultra-high speed download capability; 406,323 reading storage capacity; optional memory wrap; battery life indicator; optional password protection and more. Using the MadgeTech Software, starting, stopping and downloading from the Event101A is simple and easy.

One of the most powerful features of the Event101A is the accompanying software (Madgetech data logger software). MadgeTech's easy-to-use Windows-based program features a variety of powerful tools, all of which work together to allow for the effortless creation and exportation of professionally formatted spreadsheets and customized graphs. Complex analyses can be performed with just one click of the mouse. In addition to data analysis, MadgeTech's software is used for the digital calibration of the Event101A.
