Description
The ACI AFS Differential Pressure Switch is a general-purpose device for HVAC and energy management applications. The AFS senses positive, negative, or differential air pressure when used with an A/SPT or A/VPT Series sampling tube. The switch has a plated metal housing containing a diaphragm, calibration spring, and snap-acting contact closure, with manual or automatic reset depending on the model.
Applications for the AFS pressure switch include monitoring filter blockage, verifying airflow, detecting excessive or insufficient flow, and providing alarms or control signals. The enclosure includes a ½-inch conduit knockout and protects the switch terminals and set-point adjustment screw from accidental contact. The AFS series is covered by ACI’s two-year limited warranty.
