Description
The Honeywell FS20X Plus UV/3IR flame detector is a fixed flame detection device designed to detect hydrocarbon, hydrogen, and non-hydrocarbon fires using UV and infrared sensing. It is intended for use in industrial environments where multiple fuel types may be present and where visibility can be reduced by rain, fog, or smoke.
The detector provides a maximum detection range of up to 275ft and a typical response time of 5 seconds. It has a 100° horizontal by 90° vertical field of view. The operating temperature range is -67° to 167°F. The enclosure is rated IP66/IP67 Type 4X. The device supports Modbus, HART 7, 4 to 20mA, and relay outputs. It is SIL 2 certified and FM 3260 certified, and has hazardous location approvals including ATEX, IECEx, and cFMus. The unit includes a standard mount and sunshade. The FS20X Plus includes LED halo status indication and supports setup and diagnostics through a PC application (FlameManager) and HART communication
