Description
The Optris CTi P3 is a compact, non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed for measuring thin-film plastic materials. It operates in the 3.43µm spectral range, making it suitable for materials such as PE, PP, and PS. The device measures temperatures from 95 to 1112°F and features a 15ms response time.
The sensor provides a 15:1 optical resolution for accurate measurement of small targets. It includes adjustable emissivity settings and supports signal processing functions such as averaging and peak/valley hold for stable readings in production environments. It offers selectable analog outputs (4–20 mA, 0–10 V, 0–5 V, thermocouple K) and USB connectivity for setup and configuration via Optris software or mobile app.
