Description
The Fuji Electric FRENIC-MEGA (G2) inverter is a three-phase AC drive designed for 1/2 to 1,200 HP applications at 230 to 460 V, supporting both constant and variable torque operations. It integrates sensorless vector control, dynamic torque vector control, and advanced PID functions, enabling precise motor control and efficient operation across a wide range of industrial settings. Configurable overload capability from 120% to 200% and a built-in safe torque off (STO) input provide flexibility and operational safety for diverse applications.
This drive is compatible with a wide range of three-phase industrial motors and supports multiple industrial communication protocols. Communications include (Standard) Modbus RTU, BACnet MS/TP, and Metasys® N2, with optional support for Profinet, Ethernet/IP, BACnet/IP, DeviceNet, and other protocols (see datasheet). Units rated ≥75 HP at 230 V or ≥100 HP at 460V include a DC link reactor to improve power quality. Additional features include built-in customizable logic, brake control functionality, and an optional keypad with USB connectivity to support simplified setup and maintenance. Configuration and diagnostics are supported through included PC software and a Bluetooth-connected mobile application.
