Description
The UE Systems Ultraprobe 9000 ultrasonic inspection system is versatile and easy to operate. Data from either pre-planned routes or troubleshooting can be easily viewed and stored. UE Systems' spin and click technology simplifies sophisticated inspection processes. With only two controls, the user is able to locate potential problems, quickly change frequency or sensitivity, easily select functions, store data, and download data via USB output. The display panel shows the calibrated decibel readout and a 16-segment bar graph, which instantly registers sound intensity changes and simultaneously registers peak hold during scanning.
The complete Ultraprobe 9000 kit includes the Ultraprobe 9000 with pistol grip; a scanning module for locating airborne ultrasound such as pressure, vacuum and electrical emissions; a rubber focusing probe for narrowing reception band of scanning module and for blocking out ambient ultrasound; a stethoscope probe for monitoring internal ultrasound such as in bearings, steam traps and valves; an extension probe kit to increase stethoscope contact range; and a warble tone generator with amplitude selection switch for use in tone test method.
The Ultraprobe 9000's on-board data logging uses a data management system that provides multiple data views, a history table and spreadsheets, trend charts, and the ability to export files to MS Excel.

Here's how some of our customers use this product...
Monitoring for Vacuum Leaks at A Powdered Milk Production Plant
The Background: Our customer is a milk powder plant looking for an effective way to monitor and detect leaks from the vacuum, gas, air, and steam systems in their facility.
The Problem: Milk powder is made by separating the cream and evaporating the water from the condensed solids under vacuum. The condensate is then sprayed into a drying chamber to make the final powder product. Vacuum levels are crucial throughout multiple stages of production and even the slightest leak in a gasket or fitting can ruin a production run. With each production run taking 21 days, a bad batch can have serious financial consequences.
The Solution: We recommended the UE Systems Ultraprobe 9000 ultrasonic inspection system, a versatile and easy to use system that can locate ultrasounds caused by pressure, vacuum and electrical emissions. The Ultraprobe 9000 is sensitive enough to detect a 0.005in (0.127mm) diameter leak at 5psi at a distance of 50ft.
