Description

The AOI Series 2000 oxygen analyzer is a microprocessor-controlled monitor that can be supplied with oxygen measuring ranges from 0-1% to 0-100%, either in a single range or optional three-range configuration. All three-range analyzers feature autoranging. The analyzer has built-in visual and audible alarms. The front panel contains five switches that provide access to the instrument's settings. Each analyzer is equipped with three oxygen alarm relays and one status alarm relay, which are user-configurable for fail-safe operation.

The Series 2000 features an extended-life oxygen sensor with an enhanced electrolyte system. For applications where carbon dioxide is present in the sample gas, the system retards passivation of the sensor anode by allowing the products of oxidation to dissolve in the electrolyte. The sensor is renewed continuously, resulting in an increase in sensor life even if exposed to 100% carbon dioxide. The enhanced mechanical design of the sensor ensures longer life, and virtually eliminates leakage of electrolyte.

The monitor is available in several mechanical configurations, including watertight (NEMA 4). The gas inlet and outlet connections on the sensor housing are quick-connect types. One-quarter inch stainless steel compression fittings are available upon request at no additional charge. The monitor can also be configured with an optional remote sensor that may be placed up to 1,000 feet (300 meters) from the electronics.
