The DevComFF.Droid Foundation Fieldbus (FF) communicator app for Android is a powerful mobile tool designed to perform complete FF device configurations using an Android tablet or smartphone. This app allows technicians to access and manage FF device data wirelessly in the field, eliminating the need for bulky handheld communicators or laptops.
DevComFF.Droid includes all the latest registered Device Descriptions (DDs) from the FieldComm Group (FCG) and provides full access to all features of the device DDs, including methods, trims, calibrations, and setup wizards. Users can view and edit device variables, monitor device measurements and status, access all block data including block status, and save configuration and calibration data as text or PDF files. The app communicates via Bluetooth and requires a compatible ProComSol FF modem, such as the MOBI-FF or MOBI-CMPLT (sold separately). It includes one year of free DD library and software updates, and users can add DDs manually without a subscription.
