Here's how some of our customers use this product...
Measuring Moisture Content of Shielding Gases
The Background: Our customer is a supplier of compressed gases and seeks a means of testing the amount of moisture in shielding gas mixtures used in certain welding processes.
The Problem: Shielding gases are used to protect weld areas from oxygen and moisture which can reduce the quality of a weld. Given the purpose of the shielding gases, it is imperative they, themselves, are free of moisture.
The Solution: We suggested the GE Panametrics air.IQ moisture analyzer kit which is designed for moisture measurement in any inert gas application, in industrial environments classified as safe areas, where the process gas pressure is slightly positive to a maximum of 200 psig.
