Description
Ashcroft EL Series bimetal thermometers are silicone liquid filled with 1% full span accuracy. The dials are available in 3 inch rear, 5 inch rear, and 5 inch Everyangle connections. The external adjustment permits zero reset from outside the case. Potential wear problems caused by excessive vibration are minimized through dampening, prolonging the life of the instrument. The liquid medium also improves readability. The EL series has a hermetically sealed case to prevent moisture entry, interior corrosion, and coil freeze up. The unit has an all-welded stainless steel construction with a durable polycarbonate window.

Here's how some of our customers use this product...
Analog Thermometer for the Food and Beverage Industry
The Background: Our customer is a prominent beverage brand that seeks to add redundancy in the sensors monitoring the temperature of production processes.
The Problem: Maintaining precision control of production processes is vital to food and beverage companies as any variation can affect the product quality. Our customer wants to add a number of analog thermometers so they can continue to monitor critical processes in case the power goes out rendering their digital thermometers useless.
The Solution: We recommended Ashcroft EL Series bimetal thermometers which are widely used in food production. The EL series uses a silicon fill fluid to reduce needle bounce and the native lens is plastic and not glass which is a safety hazard in food production. The EL Series is a low cost and versatile analog gauge that can be deployed in all processes, from cryogeneic to super-hot pasteurization.
