Description
The Fluke-Hart Scientific 1551A and 1552A "Stik" (formerly Hart Scientific) thermometers provide a highly precise and durable digital replacement for mercury-in-glass thermometers. They are intrinsically safe (ATEX and IECEx compliant), so they can be used safely where potentially explosive gases may be present. More durable than mercury-in-glass thermometers, they can be used reliably outdoors or on the production floor.
The stainless steel probe and digital readout of the Fluke-Hart Scientific 1551A and 1152A "Stik" thermometers are fixed together and calibrated as a system. Both models are intrinsically safe and accurate to ±0.05°C over their full range. The models are differentiated only by the sensing element and temperature range. The 1551A features a robust thin-film RTD sensor with ranges from –50 to 160°C and primarily targets the petroleum industry. The 1552A utilizes a wire-wound PRT sensor with ranges from –80 to 300 °C and targets the pharmaceutical industry. Of course many other industries have applications that require an easy-to-use, stable and portable reference thermometer and the "Stik" thermometer is the perfect solution.
The Fluke-Hart Scientific 1551A and 1552A "Stik" thermometers include a user-configurable stability/trend indicator that lets users know when temperature is stable enough to record an accurate measurement. A user-settable auto-off function extends typical battery life to three hundred hours while a low-battery indicator and stop-measure function prevent erroneous measurements from being made due to low battery life. A simple three-point calibration function allows users to easily and accurately calibrate the 1551A and 1552A. Data logging up to 10,000 readings to an internal memory of is available as an option. The large backlit LCD display rotates 90 degrees, making it easy to read from any angle.
