The KEP MB2 MINI-Batcher flow batcher is a 6-digit totalizer and 4.5 digit ratemeter with two relay outputs. One output is dedicated to the batch amount (preset A), while the other can be activated for pre-warn or batch/grand total.

This KEP flow batcher can count up to the preset (reset to 0) or down from the preset (set to preset). Start, stop and reset functions can be activated from the front panel or remote inputs of the KEP MB2 MINI-Batcher flow batcher. An analog output (assignable for rate or batch amount) is available for data logging.

Several KEP units can communicate to a host computer on a single RS232 or RS422 loop. The KEP MB2 MINI-Batcher flow batcher is ideal for all batching applications.

Inexpensive Batch Control

The Background: The customer, a water treatment company focusing on corrosion control, is developing new procedures and requires a batch controller to be used as part of their testing protocol.

The Problem: The primary consideration of the customer is accurate batch control at a good price.

The Solution: We recommended the KEP MB2 batch controller paired with the GPI TM Series flow meter with pulse output. These were used to control a Georg Fisher Type 104 ball valve. The customer added a relay cube to take SPST and make is act as a SPDT, enabling them to drive the valve in both directions. This set-up allows precise batching at a great price.
