The Extech DA50 AC current detector offers non-contact detection of AC current up to 1000A with a telescoping probe that extends up to 39" (1m) for hard-to-reach areas. The Extech DA50 AC current detector is useful when working with shielded wires, wires behind walls, metal circuit breakers and junction boxes.

Other features of the Extech DA50 AC current detector include sensitivity from 200mA to 1000A (50/60Hz), a red LED indicator and ON/OFF-controlled audible beeper. The sensitivity adjustment feature of the Extech DA50 AC current detector increases or reduces the sensor trigger threshold.
