Description

The smart, loop-powered Rosemount 3300 Series level and interface transmitter is based on guided wave radar technology. Reliable measurements on liquids and slurries are provided, even for severe conditions, due to advanced signal processing with digital sampling and a high signal to noise ratio.

Features of the Rosemount 3300 Series level and interface transmitter include easy installation and commissioning through two-wire technology, and pre-configured transmitter or user-friendly configuration with the included PC software package. Transmitter operation is virtually trouble-free as the Rosemount 3300 Series level and interface transmitter is unaffected by dust, vapor, interfering obstacles and turbulence. The Rosemount 3300 Series level and interface transmitter is also suitable for small or oddly shaped tanks. With direct level measurement there is no need for compensation for hanges in temperature, pressure, density, dielectric or conductivity. The robust modular design has a dual compartment housing allowing for removal without opening the tank.

The Rosemount 3300 Series level and interface transmitter can be used for level measurements on most liquids, semi-liquids, some solids and liquid / liquid interfaces. The Rosemount 3301 guided wave radar level transmitter is used for liquids and some solids. The Rosemount 3302 Multivariable ™ guided wave radar level and interface transmitter is used for liquids only.

The guided wave Rosemount 3300 Series level and interface transmitter offer high reliability and performance. Measurements are virtually unaffected by temperature, pressure, vapor gas mixtures, density, turbulence, bubbling / boiling, varying dielectric media and viscosity. Since the waves are guided along the probe, this technology is excellent for small and narrow tanks / tank openings.
