Description
The submersible GE Druck PTX1280/1880 Submersible Pressure Transmitters are specifically designed for level and depth measurements in a variety of environments: groundwater, well water, canals, rivers, and other similar applications. The PTX 1280/1880 sensors are ideal for use in applications where small size is an advantage, such as municipal water supply wells, leachate wells, irrigation projects, etc. The titanium construction also makes the devices suitable for seawater measurement applications. Accurate to within ±0.25%, these GE Druck Submersible Pressure Transmitters have excellent stability. With an operating range from 1 to 900 psi (2.30 to 2075.99 FT H2O), these sensors are easily customizable to your needs.
The GE Druck PTX 1280/1880 transmitters offer three levels of accuracy, depending on your needs. The PTX 1280 comes standard with a ±0.25% accuracy. The PTX 1880 comes standard with a ±0.1% accuracy, which is also upgradeable to a high-precision, ±0.06% accuracy. A tough, flouropolymer cable is attached to the transducer body, providing a high integrity, waterproof assembly. The cable is strengthened with Kevlar® so that there is no measurable elongation when the cable is lowered into deep wells.
The GE Druck Submersible Pressure Transmitters are constructed of all-welded titanium and are backed by a 5-year corrosion warranty. An advanced micromachined silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor provides excellent performance and resistance to shock and vibration. Depending on your needs, the PTX1280/1880 sensors have multiple lenghts of cable ranging from 15 feet (included) up to 150 feet.
