Description

The Extech ML720 MultiLog data logger multimeter has 10 selectable data logging sample rates from 0.05 second (50ms) to 480 seconds (8 minutes), per sample for high speed data collection or for long time studies. There is a 43,000 data point memory that allows for stored data to be viewed directly on the Extech ML720 MultiLog data logger multimeter's LCD display with quick min/max and trend displays.

The Extech ML720 MultiLog data logger multimeter features an optically isolated RS-232 PC interface with Windows ® 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP compatible software (included) to allow users to collect, display, plot, save, or export stored data or graphs. The rugged design of the Extech ML720 MultiLog data logger multimeter includes a protective holster and water-resistant housing.

The Extech ML720 MultiLog data logger multimeter has a high basic DC voltage accuracy of 0.08%, true RMS measurements for AC voltage and current, and a wide AC voltage bandwidth of 40Hz to 20kHz. The smart auto power off is disabled if a signal is present at the test leads. The Extech ML720 features a temperature function that has selectable °F/°C units, and the backlit 5000-count LCD display affords high resolution (0.01mV, 0.1µA, 0.01Ω. 0.01nF, 0.001Hz).

Other features of the Extech ML720 include hold and low resistance auto-lead zero as well as 10 measurement functions including AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, temperature, frequency, capacitance, diode, and continuity.

Applications for the Extech ML720 MultiLog Data Logger Multimeter

  • Use logged data collected in the field to generate reports
  • Monitor and analyze electrical parameters over time
  • Use with multimeter adaptors to perform studies on airflow, humidity, light level, large currents, and rpm measurements
