Installation of GF Signet 2540 and 2517 wet-tap flow sensors requires a wet-tap drilling machine, a ball or gate valve, a pipe nipple with 1.25" threads and a GF Signet wet-tap installation tool. The valve and pipe nipples can be purchased at a local hardware store.

The GF Signet wet-tap installation tool serves to hold the sensor against the line pressure as it is retracted or inserted into the pipe.
