Druck DPI 800 / DPI 802 Pressure Indicator and Loop Calibrator

The Druck DPI 800 / DPI 802 pressure indicator and loop calibrator is designed for pressure testing, measurement, transmitter calibration, and process-loop maintenance. The instruments cover pressure ranges from 25 mbar to 700 bar (10 in H₂O to 10,000 psi), including vacuum options, and can be configured with single or dual pressure ranges. Their compact, rugged construction includes impact-resistant elastomer protection and weather-resistant housing for use in demanding field environments.

The DPI 800 pressure indicator supports pressure measurement and troubleshooting with features including programmable leak testing, pressure drop and leak-rate reporting, and maximum, minimum, average, alarm, hold, and tare functions. Dual-sensor configurations allow simultaneous readings from P1 and P2 or differential pressure (P1–P2). Stainless steel sensors provide compatibility with a broad range of fluids and gases, while pressure measurement accuracy depends on the selected sensor and accuracy configuration.

The DPI 802 pressure loop calibrator combines pressure measurement with mA measurement for transmitter calibration and loop diagnostics. It provides 24 V loop power for energizing transmitters and control loops, an integrated HART resistor that can be switched into the loop when required, and an automatic switch-test function that records open and closed trip values. These capabilities support transmitter calibration, loop setup, diagnostics, pressure testing, and switch verification.

Both instruments feature a large backlit display, menu-driven operation, and one-handed use. Plug-and-play IUPM/IUPMP Intelligent Digital Output Sensor (IDOS) Universal Pressure Modules extend the available pressure ranges from 25 mbar to 700 bar and can be exchanged between compatible instruments without instrument recalibration or setup. Standard configurations provide total accuracy over the specified operating range, while premium configurations provide higher precision under defined temperature and stability conditions. Overpressure capability ranges from 4× full scale for ranges of 350 mbar and below to 2× full scale for ranges from 700 mbar to 700 bar, with a maximum working pressure of 1.1× full scale.
