Description
The Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies Ultrasound Condition Monitor and Leak Detection kit is an ultrasound receiver available in four kits for different applications. It converts ultrasonic (>20kHz) noise produced by by mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems down to an audible range. Changes in the amplitude and characteristics of ultrasound are comfortably detected in noisy plant environments. Leaks are easily pinpointed. Electrical issues are safely exposed. Equipment problems such as bearing monitoring are diagnosed even earlier than other technologies such as infrared inspection and oil analysis, enabling ultrasound to complement traditional vibration monitoring methods and enhance condition-based maintenance programs.
UDK-CM, Condition Monitoring Kit
Hear, monitor and diagnose bearings, gears, pumps, valves, and cylinders. A cloud-based application analyzes, trends, and reports the condition of critical production equipment. UDK-LK Leak Detection Kit
Detect leaks of any type of gas from vacuums, valves, steam systems, HVAC systems, and sealed cabins or containers. Compressed air leaks account for 25-30% of compressor energy demand. Indicate and locate pressurized and non-pressurized system leaks of any type of gas. Unlike most leakage detectors, which detect a characteristic of a specific gas, the receiver detects the turbulent airflow of any compressed gas.

Detect ultrasound created by corona discharge, tracking, and arcing from a safe distance, with no need to remove electrical panels. Ultrasound is produced by electricity escaping in high-voltage lines or jumping across gaps in loose electrical connections and insulation loss.
